Conference by conference, as usual:
Big 12:
Baylor 87, @West Virginia 69 - I do worry about WVU's seed, long-term, but for now, it's a good road win for Baylor
@Oklahoma St 67, Kansas 62 - well, OSU is getting away from the bubble at least. Kansas' chance at the 1 line is plenty alive but they're running out of lives for that mission
@Iowa St 75, Texas Tech 38
Oklahoma 68, @TCU 56
Texas 61, @Kansas St 57 - key hold for Texas to stabilize the profile a bit; K-State should finally be dead for good
ACC:
@Georgia Tech 73, Wake Forest 59
@Duke 90, Notre Dame 60
North Carolina 79, @Boston College 68
Florida St 73, @Virginia Tech 65
@Pittsburgh 83, Syracuse 77
@Virginia 52, Louisville 47 - UVa's gonna be on the 1 line for awhile, folks. Rather stable day in the ACC
Big 10:
Illinois 59, @Michigan St 54 - well, Illinois won't completely go away, but the big story is MSU is a legitimate bubble team right now, and in trouble
@Minnesota 62, Purdue 58 - gah, just when Purdue was getting momentum, they let a winnable road game go by the boards. Still a big distance away from the bubble
@Penn St 56, Nebraska 43
@Wisconsin 65, Northwestern 50
Big East:
@St John's 84, Creighton 66
Marquette 57, @Seton Hall 54 - a catastrophic home loss for SHU and now they're in legitimate bubble trouble
@Xavier 78, Providence 69 - after sliding back a bit, Xavier solidifies. Tough for Provi though, who were starting to look at some really high seeds
@Villanova 69, Georgetown 53
@Butler 83, DePaul 73
Pac-12:
@Arizona St 81, Arizona 78 - that's a costly one for the 1 line chances. Fatal, perhaps
@California 64, UCLA 62 - well, UCLA splits the NoCal road trip, which isn't too bad, and I guess they picked the right game to win. But they need better than "isn't too bad" right now
Utah 79, @Colorado 51
SEC:
@Georgia 56, Tennessee 53 - UT has probably absorbed too much damage; key hold for UGa
@Arkansas 61, Mississippi St 41
@Vanderbilt 65, South Carolina 50
@LSU 71, Alabama 60
Texas A&M 83, @Missouri 61 - man, all these SEC teams behaved today!
Ole Miss 86, @Auburn 79 - even Ole Miss!
Kentucky 68, @Florida 61
A-10:
@St Bonaventure 73, VCU 71 - okay, this injury situation may be worth monitoring for awhile
@Davidson 95, Duquesne 69
AAC:
Temple 61, @Memphis 60 - a key get for a bubble team is to beat slightly inferior opponents on the road. Checkmark
UConn 62, @Tulane 53
SMU 68, @Tulsa 57 - probably fatal to Tulsa's at large chances. They still lead the conference though
@Cincinnati 63, South Florida 58
MWC:
@Air Force 73, Wyoming 50 - what?!
@Colorado St 83, UNLV 82
Utah St 63, @New Mexico 60
WCC:
BYU 87, @Loyola Marymount 68
@St Mary's 73, Pacific 58
Gonzaga 81, @San Francisco 70
MVC:
@Northern Iowa 69, Drake 53
@Wichita St 78, Missouri St 35
also, Evansville and Illinois St, Indiana St wins, and 3-10 are a mess here
Small conference roundup (keeping in mind I'll hit all these tomorrow, just the big changes are below:
CAA: William & Mary wins at UNCW, and has the lead alone at 9-3
SoCon: Wofford 65, @VMI 62 - this race is likely over; the fun is now in the at-large watch
Patriot: I haven't been keeping up with this one, because this battle is just a bunch of bad teams, all of which would be headed to Dayton. Colgate now leads on 8-4, and last place is 4-7. Tight
MAC: It's a bit of a mess, as Akron/BGU/Kent now tri-lead the east at 7-3, and Toledo the west at 7-3. No separation, and it's going to cost them seeding lines in March. Akron beat Buffalo at home
CUSA: @Old Dominion 61, Charlotte 57. Now 7-3, and they gained a game because WKU lost (at home to Rice!). LaTech, UAB, and WKU are tri-leaders at 9-2 now
Ivy: Harvard wins on the road at Yale, and they control the flow of the Ivy race now
Big West: UC-Irvine wins at LBSU, so now it's UC-Davis alone atop this race
Sun Belt: Louisiana-Monroe wins at Georgia Southern, and now it's UL-M leading this race
SWAC: Texas Southern loses at home to Prairie View A&M, and they're losing the momentum they had to avoid the 16 line
