Conference tourament format: At a neutral site in Sioux Falls, well not neutral. I think SDSU is hosting. Which is natural for a 1 seed to do. The tournament runs Saturday March 7 to Tuesday March 10. The women also play at the same site, so the quarterfinals spread over two days.

1) South Dakota St vs. 8) Western Illinois
4) IPFW vs. 5) South Dakota
2) North Dakota St vs. 7) Denver
3) Oral Roberts vs. 6) IUPUI
The stakes:
It's tough to get excited about this one. The XDSU's are the class of the league, and while they might fluctuate a seed line, it's a safe bet that either would wind up on the 15 line. When the signature win is @Utah St, it's tough to get too enthusiastic about seeding them up in the 12 or 13 lines. All the metrics suggest that's unattainable. 14, perhaps, if things broke right in the other conferences.
There's not a lot going on behind them in the conference. Oral Bob has the RPI for a probable CBI/CIT bid, but IPFW and South Dakota, while eligible, might be longshots.
