1/16 recap

Minnesota 63, Ohio St 53 - OSU quickly throwing away any equity it had for a top 3 seed.  Important result for Minny, since there's going to be some unwinnable B1G games this year

UCLA 69, Colorado 56 - Possible signature road win here.  Important pecking order result for both teams
Arizona 91, Arizona St 68
Utah 84, USC 66

Providence 84, St John's 83 (2OT) - St John's just about cooked.  Providence is very quietly on the fringes of the bubble

Vanderbilt 78, Missouri 75 - The SEC is a tire fire

Connecticut 83, Memphis 73 - UConn grabs a pure road win and looks steady again.  Memphis' turn to look shaky.  The lack of separation might cost both teams some seeding lines in March
Louisville 91, Houston 52

BYU 83, San Francisco 76 - BYU is a weird case as they have a very strong SoS that gives them a lot of leeway
Gonzaga 70, Pepperdine 53 - Side note:  everyone's still above .500 in the WCC!  They could host an entire half of the CBI bracket if they want at this rate

Elsewhere:
FGCU 63, USC Upstate 60 and Mercer 74, Northern Kentucky 58 - After some hemming and hawing, looks like these 2 teams are back to being 1-2 in the A-Sun
Charlotte 90, Tulsa 86 (OT) - Still paying attention.  CUSA's still in its early stages so don't read too much into the standings there yet
Southern Miss 84, Rice 62 and Louisiana Tech 73, Tulane 45
Eastern Kentucky 74, Belmont 63 - No sin for Belmont to lose on the road to team 1A in the OVC.  But this just makes the return game mandatory
Manhattan 90, Siena 68 - 6-1 in the MAAC, presumptive favorite
Elon 87, Davidson 85 (OT) - These were your preseason SoCon favorites.  Elon with the road win and probable command of the conference

4 games on Friday.  But value!  Green Bay at Wright St in an important pecking order game in the Horizon.  Jacksonville/North Florida (both 4-2 in the A-Sun).  Canisius/Iona (both 5-1 in the MAAC).
