1/9 recap

Pac-12:
Arizona 79, UCLA 75 - No harm to UCLA, decent gain for Arizona, who is starting to earn future mulligans.
Arizona St 79, USC 60 - Road win.
Oregon St 81, Stanford 72 - Stanford is starting to lose touch with the cutline.
California 96, Oregon 83 - Meanwhile, this bubble team gets a signature road win.  The battle for protected seeding is crowded, and Oregon is losing ground.

B1G:
Michigan 71, Nebraska 70 - Near disaster.
Iowa 93, Northwestern 67

ACC:
Florida St 56, Clemson 41 - We can more safely dismiss Clemson now, and FSU gets a road win on the resume.

American:
Memphis 73, Louisville 67 - I think it might take awhile to find out what Louisville's baseline is, so we don't know just how great a win this is.  But it is still a signature road win of some sort.
South Florida 82, Temple 75

Big East:
DePaul 99, Butler 94 (2OT) - Bubble teams can't drop this game at home and survive.
Xavier 86, Marquette 79 - Now here's a bubble team taking care of business.  Marquette is on the brink.

SEC:
Ole Miss 65, Auburn 62

A-10:
LaSalle 76, George Washington 72 - Big blow to GWU, although it isn't a bad road loss.  LaSalle is still toast, though.
VCU 71, George Mason 57

WCC:
Portland 82, Gonzaga 73 - Gonzaga isn't the lock that you think they are.  Careful.
Santa Clara 57, St Mary's 55 - Catastrophic home loss for St Mary's.
BYU 84, Pepperdine 72 - BYU, meanwhile, is still breathing.

Other conference play:
IPFW 82, North Dakota St 71 - NDSU's reasonably-alive at-large hopes take a major dent.
Quinnipiac 81, Manhattan 76
Southern Miss 74, North Texas 64 - Road win.
Charlotte 73, UTEP 68 - Road win.
Belmont 107, SEMO 94 - Road win.

Fridays from here on in will always be light.  Mercer has a layup home game against Kennesaw St, and we get to figure out the Horizon pecking order a little bit with Wright St/Valpo, but that's it.
