1/20 NIT/CBI/CIT projections

Welcome to the first NIT projections of the season.  Also welcome the first CBI and CIT projections.  Don't sweat, your NCAA projections are coming shortly.  Some notes on these projections:

1) I will not do many CBI/CIT projections until well into March, but I'll take a couple snapshots before then.  Expect NIT brackets maybe every other week or so.
2) For the foreseeable future, I am projecting every eligible team to accept a CBI/CIT bid.  Obviously, by mid-March, we'll know that some will reject bids, but for now, for the purposes of an accurate projection, I'm assuming every team would accept a bid.
3) If you notice, every team is above .500 in my projections.  I reserve the right to slip in an under .500 team if I project that team to get to .500
4) And this is the big one:  remember that NIT awards automatic bids for winning your regular season conference championship.  So the teams I project as 7 and 8 seeds in the NIT are in reality on the wrong side of the bubble.  There's no real way to project that properly at this time.
5) And for now, just remember:  Very very fluid situations here.  If your team is projected in one of these fields, don't sweat it, things will change drastically.
