2/6 S-CURVE

Autobid shenanigans:  only one of note is the MVC.  Illinois St retains the autobid spot for the MVC due to the rules, but would be out of the field as an at-large by a narrow margin.  Also in the Sun Belt, Georgia Southern has like the 4th best resume, but has taken over the autobid spot there.

The 2-4 lines are getting tight.  You can make some easy arguments to flip around a lot of the positions.  I'm keeping Arizona on the 2 line for now....pushing the ACC to the other 3 spots there.  Don't feel strongly enough about Kentucky or Wisky or WVU to be on that 2 line.  However, it's highly unlikely there's enough wins in the ACC available to keep 3 teams that high.

Down on the bubble, Big 12 sneaks three teams in...not all of them will make it.  Not enough wins to go around.  I think the ACC, Big 12, and B1G are all at full capacity in this field.

What do you think about the upcoming show on Feb 11th to show the top 16 teams at that time ? I was against it at first thinking it will ruin the suspense of Selection Sunday but now I am intrigued to see where certain teams stand. I am most interested in Kentucky to see if they are a 3 or 4 seed. If they had beat Florida I think they would have been a 2 seed. I am also interested to see if Duke is in their top 16 and if Gonzaga is the #1 overall on their board or if they barely make the cut as the #4 overall. (If they show us the 1-16 in order). That log jam from 2-4 seeds is very real especially 3-4 seeds. I see many have moved Oregon all the way to the 2 line based off that win over Arizona.

That show is going to be awful. They never like to give out specifics on individual teams...I don't see how the show will be helpful without discussing individual teams in-depth. Plus, people will just misuse the info and everyone will complain in March about things they don't understand.

It's a catastrophic idea.
