B1G:
Northwestern 66, @Wisconsin 59 - hey, Northwestern:
Michigan 75, @Indiana 63 - jesus christ, Crean. And Michigan is relevant again!
Pac-12:
@UCLA 78, Oregon St 60
also, Colorado beat Wazzu for you NIT bubble fetishists
ACC:
@Virginia Tech 80, Virginia 78 (OT) - first, a word of caution. You do have to be careful not to overvalue home wins like this, because most bubble teams will have one. But still, it's a big, big get for VT, in large part because it helps them stay a half-step ahead of most ACC bubble teams. Meanwhile, Virginia might already have lost their shot at the top 2 lines...3 ACC teams ahead of them
AAC:
@SMU 60, Cincinnati 51 - kind of a bummer for Cincy, as it puts a ceiling on their seed at about 3, maybe 4 if we're being harsh. I don't think SMU was in any danger by the way, but they should be good to go at this point
elsewhere, Temple beat Memphis on the road, because this conference insists on being terrible from 3rd on down
MVC:
Wichita St 81, @Loyola(Chi) 64
MWC:
@San Diego St 70, Nevada 56 - yikes

What a great day of hoops for such few games. Northwestern with the biggest win in history and to do it without their leading scorer was amazing to watch. Va Tech winning in 2 OT's with their leading scorer fouling out and that ball sitting on the rim with 21 seconds left and not falling in for Virgina. SMU knocks off Cincy...what a day.
I can't wait for 3 weeks from yesterday. I enjoy that 9 day run of championship week from March 4th to 12th with all the championship games as much as the big tournament. I take vacation every year from Wed-Fri the week of Selection Sunday to watch all the conf tournament games.
