Ohio State on the 4 line still ? I would say in the end they end up a 6 seed when everyone passes them by. At best a 5 seed right now. Can't lose 3 games to Penn State.
A lot of people still have Duke at 5 or 6 overall S Curve your only person I follow has them down at a 3 line.
I flip flopped between Purdue, Tennessee, and Duke about 473 times last night...have no problem moving Duke up from #9 overall to #7. I think Duke's 4 Group 1 wins is juuuuust a bit too light.
I just don't feel too good about the teams behind OSU right now. I just can't bring myself to move those teams up any more. I think what will happen is a few of them will jump up as normally happens in championship week and your assessment is right that they'll be on the 6 line. Maybe 5.
I have said for the past few weeks many had Michigan on the 5/6 line I think with their win over MSU you need to start moving them up. I think Michigan has moved past Ohio State now despite an entire regular season that said Ohio State was slightly better. OSU beat Purdue which Michigan could not but that is moot now.
Michigan despite a terrible non conf SOS and despite Ohio State being 15-3 and them 13-5 and despite Ohio State winning at Purdue and Michigan swept by Purdue it looks like Michigan is ahead of Ohio State now on the S-Curve.
Kansas getting thumped for their 7th loss of the year and swept by a non tournament Oklahoma State team time to move them below Xavier even though I thought Xavier was still ahead of Kansas 4 losses to 6 losses. For sure now.
Oklahoma State really screwed up their non conf schedule. How do you beat Kansas twice, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas and Florida State and have an RPI of 86 ?
Washington with another fatal loss at home vs Oregon.
Kansas State probably makes it despite that awful non conf. We shall see how that Big 12 tournament plays out.
Shocking loss at home by Middle Tennessee tonight and swept by Marshall. They might get a shot at redemption with Marshall being the 4 seed in the Conf USA tournament.
So now the big question is if they don't win the conf tournament will they get at large bid. If that had won tonight and won the quarter finals game I would have thought it been a lock now who knows.
